Floral Water (also known as hydrolats or hydrosols) are the water that is collected when plants are steam distilled.
Lavender‚water is ideal for cleansing and toning, it also makes a lovely cooling spray‚which is‚helpful for soothing sunburn, heat rash, insect bites and other skin irritations.
Its antiseptic properties are beneficial for cleansing minor wounds and it can be used in a cold compress on the forehead, neck and shoulder areas to help ease headaches and migraines.
Lavenders calming, sedative properties can also aid relaxation and a restful nights sleep for people of all ages.

Its also known as a hydrolat or floral water.”

Floral waters have a delicate nature and a light aroma. They are ideal for children, the elderly and the highly sensitive.They do not require dilution and can be applied directly to the skin.
They are ideal for gentle cleansing and toning and for blending with creams and lotions.
Use as a linen spray when ironing or to fragrance bed linen.
